I would love to create a special piece for you.However, please kindly note that shipping to the US has become more challenging recently due to changes in US customs regulations and rising shipping costs.
I want to share the details transparently so you can make the best decision:

1. Customs Duty & Sales Tax & the carrier's advancement fee
Under current US regulations, the tax exemption limit for low-value imports has changed, and commercial shipments are subject to customs duty.

​

・Customs Duty (11.0%): Tiaras fall under HTS code 9615.19.6000, which carries an 11.0% duty rate. (For example, if the item is 20,000 JPY, the duty will be 2,200 JPY.)

・State Sales Tax: Since this is a direct purchase from an individual creator, you will NOT be charged any State Sales Tax (0%).

・The carrier's advancement fee 1,200 JPY.

2. Shipping Options (Please choose from 2 plans)

Based on a total package weight of approximately 600g (including sturdy packaging to safely protect the tiara during transit), here are the two routes available:

🔴 Plan A: EMS (Japan Post) + USPS - Prepaid Duty Plan
All costs are calculated and paid upfront at the time of your order using the Zonos system.

​

・Estimated Total Cost (Shipping & Prepaid Fees): Approx. 7,600 JPY
(This includes the EMS shipping fee　4,200 JPY, 11% customs duty 2,200 JPY, and the carrier's advancement fee 1,200 JPY. There will be absolutely NO additional charges upon delivery.)

Pros: This keeps the shipping cost lower. By using Zonos to electronically transmit accurate data to U.S. Customs in advance, the risk of delays is minimized.

Cons: It utilizing the public postal network, so delivery time takes around 7 to 14 days depending on local customs clearance.

★Note　
・For purchases of 20,000 yen or more, I will cover one-third of the shipping costs;
・For purchases of 30,000 yen or more, I will cover half of the shipping costs;.
<Examples>
Purchase of 20,000 yen or more => Shipping: 3,000 yen => 2,200+1,200+3,000 =>subtotal: 6,400 yen => Total: about 26,400 yen
Purchase of 30,000 yen or more => Shipping: 2,100 yen => 3,300+1,200+2,100 => subtotal: 6,600 yen => Total: about 36,600 yen
 

🔵 Plan B: UGX (Japan Post Express) - Premium Courier Plan
All costs are calculated and handled seamlessly by the international courier network. (No action required from you or me for tax filing.)

・Estimated Total Cost (Shipping & Prepaid Fees): Approx. 11,450 JPY

(This includes the UGX premium shipping fee 8,050 JPY, 11% customs duty 2,200 JPY, and the advancement fee 1,200 JPY. There will be absolutely NO additional charges upon delivery.)

Pros: Extremely fast and reliable. UGX utilizes the dedicated aircraft and routes of private courier companies. It maintains its own dedicated customs lanes and in-house brokers, enabling clearance within a few hours to a day. Delivery takes only about 3 to 5 business days.

Cons: The shipping rate is significantly higher due to the premium courier network.

The conditions under which I cover the shipping costs are the same as the calculation formula for Plan A.
